The Mission
The mission of New Life Ministries is to serve those in need of food, shelter, and a purposed-filled life.
The Vision
The vision of New Life Ministries continues to unfold as we see our community’s needs and move to meet them. We currently serve through the New Life Community Meal Ministry offering a free, hot supper nightly to anyone who wants it; the Women’s Life House providing shelter, food, safety, and life coaching to women; and the Men’s Life House providing shelter, food, safety, and life coaching to men. In addition, we recognize the need for a future Life House for Children without family to care for them.
Most people who know poverty and hurt rely on the government to meet their needs. Understandably, the government cannot be the source of funding for every physical need within the community.
At New Life Ministries, we believe God has called us to demonstrate His love for all people in practical ways that meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We are committed to actively caring for and loving those with whom we come in contact. This includes sharing the gospel with people open to hearing it.
New Life Ministries is the outreach arm of New Life Fellowship Church. Both the church and the ministry offices are located at 313 E. Franklin Street in Huntington, Indiana 46750.
Our church formed in 2001, originally meeting for Bible study and worship in homes. The church has moved five times over the years to our current location in the heart of downtown Huntington. Throughout the changes, our church has remained focused on our mission to love people in practical ways that demonstrate God’s love for them. The people of New Life Fellowship Church love Jesus and are committed and focused on its vision through New Life Ministries.
